Yet the value of quality signed Art Nouveau and Art Deco art and antiques has not rebounded with the rest of the antique market, excluding that of the most important jewelry and glass artists, such as Cartier, Tiffany, and Galle. Furniture, however, is still going at auction for prices that hardly recoup the transportation, insurance and commission fees. For example, I decided to not send to auction any of the larger pieces because the estimates were for 5-15% what they cost to buy from retail dealers 30-20 years ago.. I am looking for specific customers for such items as a beautiful Marjorelle secretary, Art Deco furniture and large unique glass sculptures, etc. if anyone is interested in buying any of these pieces, please contact me for an inventory and pictures of them.
