Pantone, who annually releases the year’s hottest hue, has coined Emerald “The Color of the Year 2013″.
This spectacular 472-carat emerald crystal, “El Itoco,” was recovered at La Pita Min in Colombia. It’s shown next to an 11-carat crystal which is a more typical size for this area.
