Modern-Day Treasure Hunting on 60 Minutes
GIA will be included in a story about modern-day treasure hunting this Sunday, April 22, at 7 p.m. on CBS’s 60 Minutes, the long-running weekly news program. The story chronicles the discovery of emeralds on the ocean floor near Key West, FL that are sent to the GIA Laboratory in New York for identification. The program will include footage from the NY laboratory and an interview from Thomas M. Moses, GIA senior vice president of Laboratory and Research.
